The Minister of Sustainable Development, of the Environment and Parks (MDDEP), Pierre Arcand, says he takes very seriously the first clues that there is groundwater contamination in a shale gas well. Though he says that the case of gas migration in the water table is still “hypothetical” until more details come to light.
