Fracking will make us more dependent

Fracking will make us more dependent by Katie Bishop, November 29, 2012, Bloomington Pantagraph
As long as we’re putting all our resources into finding non-renewable forms of energy, we’ll always be dependent. Plus, fracking, without a doubt, cripplingly contaminates water, soil and the air we breathe. Consequently, someday in the not-so-distant future we’ll also be dependent on other countries for our food and water since we can’t grow crops in contaminated soil and can’t give ourselves or our livestock water from the tap. Fracking will limit our independence … not allow us to gain more of it.
